Computer Access

Four public computers are available, running Windows 10 with internet access.

There’s no time limit — unless others are waiting, in which case a 30-minute limit applies.

Adults and children can sign up at the front desk. Children age 7 and under must be accompanied by an older sibling or adult.

Wi-Fi Access

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library. Connect to Library Public Wireless. By using it, you agree to our Internet Access Policy.

Notary Services

Free notary service is available by appointment. Call 217-832-5211 to schedule.

Please bring:

  • Your document(s), completed but unsigned
  • A witness, if your document requires one (the library cannot provide witnesses)
  • A valid, unexpired photo ID for yourself and any witnesses. Accepted forms:
    • Driver’s license
    • State ID card
    • U.S. military ID
    • U.S. passport
    • FOID card

Meeting Room

The board room is available, free of charge, for civic, cultural, educational, and public information meetings. Refreshments are welcome, and restrooms are just down the hall.
