Computer Access

We have 4 computers available for public use. They are equipped with Windows 10 and Internet Access.

There is no time limit unless there are people waiting to use them. Then, it’s a half-hour limit.

Adults and kids can sign up at the desk. Children 7 and under must have an older sibling or adult present with them.

Wi-Fi Access 

Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) access is available throughout the Library. By using our Wi-Fi, you agree to the terms of our Internet Access Policy.

Our wireless  network can be found under Library Public Wireless.

Notary

We offer a free notary service. For more details or to request an appointment, phone us at 217-832-5211.

Please provide:

  • Your completed, unsigned document(s) to be notarized
  • A witness or witnesses, if required by your document. The Library cannot supply witnesses
  • A valid, unexpired ID. Any witnesses must also have ID. Acceptable forms of ID include:
    • Driver’s license
    • State ID card
    • US military ID
    • US passport
    • FOID Card

Printing and Copying 

Black & white and color printers and copiers are available.

  • 25¢ per black & white page
  • 50¢ per color page

Faxing 

Faxing is available at the library desk. It is a 1.00 for the first page and 50¢ for every page after.

We do not charge for receiving faxes.

Meeting Room

The library board room is available for civic, cultural, educational and public information meetings and programs.

There is no fee and refreshments are allowed in the room, and there are bathrooms right down the hall.
