Once again the Camargo Township District Library is having a grand mixture of murder and laughs in the first annual Peggy Kramer Memorial Mystery Play hosted by the Friends of The Library. What’s more is that we wish for your company in it! Come enjoy a meal and watch the hilarious antics of Shirley Jones, John Jones, Mel Ruckman, Lon Tay, Paul Kramer, Robbie Vermillion, Cecile Cassida, Marie Kingery, and Karla Westray under the direction of Dana Craig and try to guess first who shall be murdered and then laugh around the room as you try and figure out who the murder is at Cafe Murder!

On Saturday, April 29 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. we shall be sitting down for a meal before the play. The tasty morsels will be:

Pulled Pork
Walking Tacos
Hot Dogs
Coney Island Hot Dogs
Cole Slaw
Baked Potatoes

We shall have desserts that will make your taste buds dance and there will be the trio of Tea, Coffee, and Lemonade to help quench the thirst of all. Stronger libations shall be available in the connected bar for those with stronger constitutions. Who knows you may even run into a player or two soothing ones nerves before the start.

Though that is just where the fun is beginning that night. There will also be a Cash Drawing AND a Silent Auction of Gift Baskets! That’s right lads and lassies we will have all manner of temptations setting enticingly before you in little baskets that you even get to take home after winning! Prices for them are $1 for a ticket or $5 for 6 tickets OR an arms length for $10! What’s that? You don’t want to wait all the way for the play date to be able to bid on the auction? Well we have thought of a way to make it where you don’t have to bite at that bit as much! For starting March 15th you can actually come into the library and see the baskets and start your silent bidding from then until the play!

Now we know that you’re saying to yourself, ‘Gee with all that this includes. The laughs and screams and the food and merriment! I could only surmise that it would cost into the hundreds just for me to get past the rather mean looking bouncer at the door!’ To this we would have to say that you need to work on your detective skills just a bit more! For the the price of just getting into the play is $5 a ticket! If you wish to enjoy the meal and the play (which let’s face it, you do), that’s only $10 a ticket! Once again we hear your thoughts rattling around your head, ‘but I have a family and not sure if I can find a sitter that night.’ Well then you should listen to this! Have not someone sit on your child, but bring them along! We welcome all who wish to attend and the more the merrier. To prove this we have made a price that if your buy three tickets your get a fourth one FREE! That’s right folks $30 for 4 tickets!

Once again that’s

$5/ ticket for the play

$10/ ticket for the play and meal

OR $30/ 4 tickets for the play and meal!

We hope to see you all there and to see how aptly a well fed individual could solve a crime that would give both Sherlock and Columbo a headache! All proceeds will go to the Friends of The Library.
